Much like his father Irfaan Khan, Son Babil carries the role of an innocent and honest man in his debut film Qala on Netflix which has won him much praise. Playing the role of Jagan in Qala by Babil has less screen time but has an impact on people.
What does Babil say when asked about the efforts made by him for the debut?
Babil says, the overall response was very kind towards him and has received a lot of love. He also shares that he has a long long journey that he has to make and it does not delude me into not thinking about where I am as an actor. I am working on my craft on a daily basis and growing as an actor every day. When I look back on what I did in Qala, I am receiving such a lovable response from the people which motivates me day by day. When people appreciate me I feel so much better and leave a question about what I do so well in Qala that I am getting a lot of appreciation from people.
These are my first steps in the industry and receiving so much love and acceptance motivates me to do my best in the future. There is such a long way to walk through life. People call me critical and that is just because of Baba (father Irfaan) and he was critical of himself too. I cannot help but think of improving it.
